Medical services offered:

·          Reproductive Health including contraception

·          Minor medical conditions e.g.   coughs, colds, influenza

·          Dysmenorrhoea (painful periods)

·          Simple dressings

·          First Aid

·          Vaccinations

·          Missed periods – pregnancy tests, referral for counselling & Termination of Pregnancy

·          Eye screening

·          Ear syringing

·          Removal of sutures but no suturing of wounds

·          Headache’s – uncomplicated

·          TB medication – DOTs

·          Advice & referral to alternative resources internal & external to UCT

·          Initial dose of basic medication e.g. paracetemol , mefenamic acid. No pharmacy provided on site

·          Proof of attendance but no certificates issued.
