The Chilean Patagonia.
I made these pictures during a one week trip on a little boat covering the Seno Almirantazgo. It was an amazing experience.
We are in the southern part of the south of the world: The Patagonia. Looking from the air, you could think that this landscape is only a huge wilderness made of ice and cold.
But when we landed and advanced into the deepness of its sea channels, we enjoyed the peculiarity of its lenga forests shaped by the southern winds; the powerful glaciers looking like white and silent lace figures; and the animal life prevailing there, innocent of the every day dangers that lie ahead.
Suddenly we felt like the first human beings getting into this world. And then we experienced a huge and marvelous responsibility: To preserve life.
